About 10 to 15 minutes. From Del Mar Village it is a straight run north on Coast Highway 101 through Solana Beach and Cardiff. From Del Mar Heights, Del Mar Mesa and Carmel Valley, I-5 north to Encinitas Boulevard is usually quickest, 12 to 18 minutes.

Nurse Injectors Under a Medical Director

Every treatment is performed by a registered nurse working under a physician medical director, with ongoing manufacturer training from Allergan and Galderma. Products are sourced directly from the manufacturers, which matters more than it should in a market where grey-market product exists.

Published Pricing

Every treatment price is on the booking page before you come in, by unit, by syringe or by session. There is no consultation fee, no quote that changes in the chair and no pressure to add treatments you did not come for.

A Quiet Arrival

We are a small boutique clinic, not a treatment floor. You are seen at your appointment time, usually by the same injector each visit, and the garage entrance behind the building means you are not waiting in a lobby on Coast Highway.

Follow-Up Built In

Injectable treatments include a two-week check with your injector, and skin treatment plans are reviewed at each session. If something needs adjusting, it is adjusted; you do not have to argue for it.

Radiofrequency microneedling for laxity, redness and melasma, and Kybella injections for the fat under the chin. Both address concerns that filler and wrinkle relaxers cannot.

Who actually holds the syringe?

In California, injectables must be performed by a licensed medical professional (RN, NP, PA or physician) under a medical director. Ask who will treat you and who the director is. At Call of Beauty it is a registered nurse under Dr. Marguerite Bernett.

Is pricing published before you arrive?

A clinic that will not quote a price until after a paid consultation is pricing to the patient, not to the treatment. Ours is on the booking page by unit, syringe and session.

Where does the product come from?

Allergan, Galderma, Revance and Evolus all sell direct to licensed providers and can verify an account. Ask. Counterfeit and imported product is the single biggest safety risk in this industry.

What happens if you are not happy?

A follow-up should be included, not sold. Hyaluronic acid fillers should be reversible on request. The clinic should have a plan, in writing, for the rare complication.

Will you see the same person next time?

Continuity matters more than any single product. An injector who has seen your face settle three times makes better decisions than one meeting it for the first time.

Del Mar Village

Camino del Mar becomes Coast Highway 101 at the Solana Beach line. Stay on it through Solana Beach and Cardiff-by-the-Sea into downtown Encinitas; we are at 90 N Coast Hwy 101, just north of E Street. About 10 minutes with the ocean on your left.

Del Mar Heights and Del Mar Mesa

Del Mar Heights Road east to I-5 north, exit Encinitas Boulevard, head west to Coast Highway 101 and turn north. Or descend Del Mar Heights Road to the coast and take 101 north. Either way, 12 to 15 minutes.

Torrey Pines

North Torrey Pines Road runs into Camino del Mar past the Torrey Pines State Reserve, the San Dieguito Lagoon and the fairgrounds, then on as Coast Highway 101 to Encinitas. About 15 minutes.

Carmel Valley

From Carmel Valley Road or Del Mar Heights Road, take I-5 north to Encinitas Boulevard and head west. 15 to 18 minutes. Most Carmel Valley patients book late morning or early afternoon to fit around work.

Parking is free in the garage behind the building, with the entrance away from Coast Highway. Street parking on 101 and the side streets is also available. We are open Tuesday through Saturday.
