Should I get Sculptra or regular filler?

Different tools. Hyaluronic acid filler places volume where it is injected and shows immediately; Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator that triggers your own collagen production over two to four months and suits broad, gradual restoration — temples, mid-face, jawline definition. If you want a visible change for an event next month, filler is the honest recommendation and we will tell you so. When will I see Sculptra results, and how long do they last?

On a delay — and knowing that upfront is half the battle. The fullness you see the day of treatment fades within about a week (it's carrier fluid, not collagen), genuine change starts reading around weeks six to eight, and the build continues for two to four months after your final session. Once your own collagen is in place, results commonly hold for two years or more before a single refresher vial is worth discussing.

Can Sculptra cause nodules, and how do you prevent them?

Small firm bumps under the skin are the known risk of Sculptra, and any injector who won't discuss them is the wrong injector. Most are felt rather than seen and resolve, but prevention is technique: adequate dilution prepared well in advance, correct injection depth, staying out of high-risk zones like the under-eye area, and your massage homework — the 5-5-5 rule of massaging treated areas five minutes, five times a day, for five days. Do you do Sculptra under the eyes?
